Our lab is actively seeking multiple highly motivated talents to join us at Georgia Tech as Ph.D. students (fully funded, starting in Spring 2027 or Fall 2027), master’s students, undergraduate students, onsite/remote research interns, visiting scholars, or postdoctoral researchers.

- Multi-Agent Systems (Coordination, Collaboration, Learning, Planning, Swarm Intelligence)
- Trustworthy AI/ML (e.g., Safety, Robustness, Generalizability, Explainability, Verification)
- Deep Reinforcement Learning & Sequential Decision Making & Controls
- Intelligent Transportation Systems & Smart City
Basic Requirements
Applicants are expected to be pursuing or hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering (ME), Computer Science (CS), Electrical Engineering (EE), Industrial/Systems Engineering (ISyE), Mathematics, or other related STEM majors.
- Strong passion for the above research topics and desire to solve challenging research problems.
- Strong analytical and coding skills.
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
Desired Skills (highly preferred but not required)
- Proficient in coding and programming (e.g., Python, C++).
- Proficient in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience in robot programming, especially with Python and C++.
- Knowledge and experience in robotics, autonomous systems, deep learning, machine learning, reinforcement learning, optimization, control, computer vision, or natural language processing.
- Prior research or project experience in robotics, autonomous systems, deep learning, machine learning, foundation models, reinforcement learning, optimization, control, computer vision, or natural language processing will be highly preferred but not required. Research experiences in other areas are also highly valued.
